On October 7, 2023, Israel faced an unimaginable tragedy, with countless innocent lives lost in the Western Negev following the brutal attacks by Hamas. As we continue to mourn, we search for ways to honor those we’ve lost—not just with words but with a lasting, living tribute: planting trees in their memory.

By planting a tree in their memory with KKL-JNF, you help keep their legacy alive. Each tree planted is more than just a symbol—it’s a living testament to the strength, resilience, and love that remains, even in the face of unimaginable loss. Each tree rooted in Israel’s cherished soil is a part of the land they loved and defended, a lasting tribute to their bravery and spirit.

Your Donation, Their Legacy

Every tree represents a story, a person who is deeply missed, and a commitment to a future rooted in peace and growth. By donating, you are not only creating a lasting memorial for those lost in the attacks but also helping to restore the beauty and vitality of Israel’s forests. Together, we can transform grief into growth, creating a brighter future in the wake of sorrow.

Why Plant a Tree?

  • A Symbol of Life: Trees represent renewal, growth, and life. They grow stronger with time, just as the memories of loved ones deepen and strengthen in our hearts.
  • Restoring the Land: Your donation directly supports the reforestation of Israel, helping to heal the land affected by conflict and environmental challenges.
  • Personal Connection: Whether you are honoring a fallen soldier, a beloved family member, or a friend, planting a tree allows their memory to live on, flourishing in the land of Israel.

Honoring Their Memory

In these difficult times, let’s come together to plant seeds of hope. Your donation is not only a tribute but a powerful act of restoration and resilience. Each tree stands as a reminder of those we’ve lost and the brighter future we strive to build in Israel.

How It Works

  1. Choose how many trees you’d like to plant.
  2. Personalize your donation, and you’ll receive a certificate that acknowledges your contribution and honors the person in whose name the tree is planted.
  3. Your tree will be planted in Israel according to KKL-JNF planting policies and forest needs, helping restore the natural landscape and building a living legacy that endures for generations.

Through your support, their memory will thrive, and the forests of Israel will continue to grow, embodying their legacy and ensuring a green future for the next generations.

Within 24 hours of completing a donation, every donor will receive a beautiful digital certificate.

As part of the donation process, you have the option to personalize the certificate with your own composed message.
