{"id":137,"date":"2024-01-18T07:36:05","date_gmt":"2024-01-18T07:36:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/git.quatro.digital\/clients\/kkl\/?post_type=community&#038;p=137"},"modified":"2024-02-08T12:17:42","modified_gmt":"2024-02-08T12:17:42","slug":"moshav-yated","status":"publish","type":"community","link":"https:\/\/donate.kkl-jnf.org\/westernnegevtribute\/?community=moshav-yated","title":{"rendered":"Yated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Moshav\u00a0<\/strong>Yated\u00a0(Hebrew for <em>&#8220;stake&#8221;<\/em>) is located in Hevel Shalom, the area of the Western Negev desert closest to Israel&#8217;s border with the Gaza Strip and Egypt&#8217;s Sinai. Established by a core of &#8220;B&#8217;nei Moshavim&#8221;, the Israeli Labor Zionist youth movement. Yated is an agricultural moshav numbering about 170 families, and the landscape is a mosaic of the Land of Israel, with secular and observant residents working in a variety of fields, creating a warm, integrated and diverse community, living in nature, away from industrial plants and air pollution with a lot of open spaces that are pleasant to live in and raise children in. The moshav has a clinic, kindergartens, a mini market, playgrounds and sports fields, a youth club, a &#8220;friends club&#8221;, postal services, a synagogue that serves the traditional and religious population, a mikveh, and a spa. In addition, there is a renovated theater hall (&#8220;The Negev Theater&#8221;) that hosts first-rate cultural events, a music studio that operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and provides lessons in all instruments and comprehensive musical education, a youth center intended for ages 18-35 that presents shows and lectures and assists in guidance on issues such as education, professional training and employment, the Eshkol National Park , libraries, sports and entertainment facilities, a music studio and a dance studio, and many enrichment classes. Most of the members of the moshav are engaged in advanced agriculture in greenhouses, growing vegetables and flowers, in private or business entrepreneurship, education, catering services, tourism services and attractions.<\/p>\n<p>After the <strong>Israeli disengagement <\/strong>from Gaza in 2005, about a third of the Orthodox community of Bnei Atzmon (about 30 families), were temporarily housed in Moshav Yated, until the fall of 2010, when they moved into new homes that were built for them in Moshav Neve, located in the Halutza Hills.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Moshav\u00a0Yated\u00a0(Hebrew for &#8220;stake&#8221;) is located in Hevel Shalom, the area of the Western Negev desert closest to Israel&#8217;s border with the Gaza Strip and Egypt&#8217;s Sinai.
